With a background in Communication and an MBA in Contemporary Art: Sales, Display, and Collecting, Simsi blends strategic insight with a deep passion for the dynamic world of contemporary art. Committed to elevating African art on the global stage, she focuses on bridging cultures, amplifying narratives, and fostering a deeper appreciation for the continent’s rich artistic heritage.

ASSOCIATE: PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS

A detail-oriented professional with over three years of experience in the visual arts sector, she specializes in managing daily operations and supporting curatorial efforts for exhibitions and events. Her expertise spans framing, coordinating deliveries, vendor relations, and overseeing logistics to ensure seamless execution for all projects managed by JCAA.

With strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, Rita is dedicated to creating an engaging and efficient experience for clients, artists and vendors alike. Passionate about the arts, she takes pride in contributing to the success of each project while upholding the highest standards of project management.

ASSOCIATE: CURATORIAL AND RESEARCH

An Executive Assistant to the Founder and an Associate engaged in curatorial and research work. With expertise in collection management, she contributes to both strategic and creative initiatives within JCAA.
